Shane earned his Ph.D. 15 years ago and spent most of his career as a teacher and healthcare professional. He, too, loves nature and plant conservation.
Sam and Shane are Monarch conservationists and garden educators. They also enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with their Irish Setter, Briley.

Sam and Shane are committed to making you feel at home. Whether you are sitting on one of the valley-view decks or soaking in the outdoor claw foot tub, these two guys want your stay to be an experience of a lifetime--leaving for home feeling like a member of the family.
